It’s a tail about a trip to the jungle on the border of India and Nepal. Where the roads are silent and quiet but in the background some musical beats keep on going and some glowing starry lights Keep blinking around it.
I have these clear cut pictures in my mind so clear that I still love the jungles and the darkness surrounding with its own charm and calmness.
My father used to have a moving job with posting at different states. When he got posted in Baghan in Bihar close to Nepal border. So all of us decided to visit jungle resort where government IBs( that is guest houses 🏘) available to government officials with all the necessities.
During our trip the route have only two cars moving and it was all empty and no others moving vehicles were seen. It was all the jungle moving with our vehicles with green and brown colour all around us.
on route my elder brother keep telling us about the flora and fauna found in that jungles. So I asked bhaiya can we get down and take pictures as it was a serene ambiance and lovely environment BUT the moment I asked for it he said one should never get down anywhere in jungle unless you have an idea about it and have information related to it. It can be quite problematic if suddenly we find ourselves in situations which can be beyond our control like we can be attacked by animals our jungle tribes as in those days jungles have thieves attacking people for ransom, only the government vehicles were safe.
It was a beautiful journey of nature and it’s beauty of unveiled and hidden stories around us.
While going to the destination it was the shades of green and brown but at time of returning it was complete dark nothing visible just the sound of beetles and bright colour of firefly and all the plants have turned into dark black ground. It felt so scary and only the lights were the headlights of the government jeep and car. Two vehicles on the way and nothing else. Sitting by the window was like your heart is in your mouth Pumping like bullet.
But the best part was in between these horrific and bizarre situation encountering with deer 🦌, lion 🦁 sitting in the middle of the road, salamander and huge bats🦇 have made the journey amazingly good interesting and above that the black huge Scorpio added the best flavour which was huge one and if stung by it no clue how painful it might have turned.
The guest house welcomed us with amazing feast and the view of river bramhaputra in front of the house was breathtaking.
This is one of my amazing journey with family in the lap of nature surrounded by magnifying Bounty. What about yours do recall them.
