Woods sounds very crazy and amazing to everyone and people love to be there on holidays. I love the woods, you all know very well. But if I say that it's difficult for people to love the woods, is very true, because not everyone is adventurous as others and they have encountered so many different experiences that they will make you stop going alone in there.
But, if you want to have fun, wonder with a group of people and family together. Once we were in Massouri, Uttarakhand and we went to see the ranges from the cliff of a mountain. It was early morning around 8 o'clock and we were waiting for the sun to shine high above the mountains so that the view can be clear and picture perfect.
After a foggy morning and rainy night, it was a bright day and finally we were able to see the ranges high shining white gold. A Little raise of the sun and the white snow makes the combination breath taking beautiful.
We were happy and excited to explore more. We saw a lane going deeper into the woods and it seems little exciting, we started our walk and after walking a kilometer we saw a bunch of monkeys around, we thought it's ok we can go. We went little more inside and it's scary, a bunch of huge monkeys, we saw two people going so thought it's ok to go, but it was really scary as the monkey starting hooting and started to follow us from branch to branch, we were kind of stuck. It was all huge spruce trees and we were really panicked what to do.
But we thought if we will stay here something wrong might happen, woods monkeys are really harmful when one is alone, so we started moving and moving not fast but at a normal pace, so the monkeys don't get the idea that we are scared.
That 2 kilometer road seems never ending that day, and the woods on the sides, got me reminded of the scary stories of Ruskin bond whom I love reading anytime. The incidents in his book had come true for me and we both we just hoping that we can get out of the sight and can see some humans around.
Finally we were out of the lane but, still we cannot forget the sight, so we keep in mind that woods can be as amazing but can turn it's side anytime.
Always be mindful when you are travelling alone, that what to carry always with yourself for your safety.
