Why people love to hear about jungle books and many more jungle goofy stories which gives them chill and feel of that vibe. But many of us have seen a different picture of woods .....long bushy trees, the rustle of leaves and falling of ripped fruits making sound of droplets.
Today at my place its really chilling, and the thought that arrived in my head is the stories we used to listen from our grandparents and after a quiet long time, I am hearing the stories again.
But at the same time I got reminded of my Jungle visit where we had born fire and cooked chicken and had lunch with the whole family under the open sky on banana leaves.
Let me tell you the story of whole trip how it started.
On a fine Sunday of winter the day was good, it was little sun, which was shining with a blow of chilling wind. We all got ready, we have a visit to the most beautiful jungle I have seen till now.
We sat in the Safari and started the journey. Till certain point it was all barren land with little shrub's here and there. Sanely we took a turn and the whole picture took a turn too. A dense forest In front of us with a whole green patch surrounding us, except the divider on the road making a difference.
We moved and moved and finally we reached a place, where we saw huge bats hanging upside down on the branches of a huge tress for which we needed binoculars to see them properly as they were in clusters. It was my first encounter with bats.
Then again moving forward, we encountered elephant herd with their little ones, monkeys as usual and deer and reindeer. Seeing a wild boar huge in size was beyond words.
All the Journey was fun with getting to see nature from so close cause that was my first experience of nature love, which I felt at that moment while my childhood.
Reaching the place was breathtaking on the high hill, beneath running of the Brahmaputra river in its full motion taking along whatever comes with the route. The Jungle party went well and we had lots of photo session and gossips and lying down on green grass fields with all surrounded by wild flowers of pink and orange colors making one smile every time one sees them.
Now the Most exciting part comes to picture the return from the destination back to home.
We started back home and after half an hour it turned dark and the jungle started becoming active now. The sounds of howling and the hissing Loud sound of beetles stared echoing in the jungle.
I was very excited to sit by the window open in the night, no doubt the vehicle was high, so no fear of any attacks. My parents were talking and elder brother started asking questions to My Father about the animals. Suddenly, listening to their conversation, I looked from my window side, it was pitch dark and I could only see all sides something shining like animals' eyes and loud beetles noise representing as they are beside my ears only.
I felt literally scared, but was not able to tell my parents about it, cause I only pester to sit by the window. My fear was increasing and it seems like something will jump in my window now or then. I was hoping that I can see some light except the headlights of the Safari.
Then suddenly...........the car in front of us stopped and we saw a huge lion sitting in the mid of the road and it was only 2 vehicles in the whole jungle moving. Seeing the lion was a relief and an excitement among all of us and then, I was all diverted and all my fear vanished. Happy and excited after such an amazing encounter with the jungle king had made our nights more memorable and cherish able.
And then we happily returned home and had our dinner and rolled on the bed with nothing in mind and slept peacefully.
There are Lot of things to say about this trip, but it will take a whole chapter to write the minute details of the story, So I cut it short.
