Monsoon rituals Do and Don'ts

Updated: Sep 26, 2022

Monsoon - the word itself says ( man ka sukoon) mental peace. We all love rains, but I still know some people who doesn’t like rains, but it doesn’t matter. Eating hot pakoras to having hot coffee or tea add the spice to the mood. As I am a night owl, I enjoy the rains during night time with only the sound of droplets of rain falling with soft music of Kishore Da is a must. Make yourself happy by adding some happy time for your own dairy.

In these days I have seen lots of pics and Videos of people drenching themselves in rains and posting videos of beautiful sites.

But do you really think that what is seen in these pics and Videos are real or edits? And not the actual reality of the background.

Seeing a certain clip we feel like oh that place is so good to visit and we even make our plans and visit the place also, without doing any RND. And after reaching we regret oh I wish I would have checked beforehand.

Monsoon is one of the beautiful seasons, but with that it’s most dangerous and we have to be more careful regarding every aspect of it.

Things to look before heading to any destination in monsoon:

  1. Look for the whole detail of the place before planning to visit and check which destinations are open, what will be available and what things one need to carry for rainy season.

  2. If one is travelling with kids, beforehand make sure that medical facilities are available at the location, immediately reach for any item's like food, changing rooms, rest rooms and kids playing space are available.

  3. In monsoon, most of the places are covered with greenery and there are huge chances of snakes or other kinds of insects to be present in the surrounding, so always wears rain boots and the good one with good grips that you do not fall anywhere, because all the places becomes slippery.

  4. When you make near beaches make sure to be cautious about that sign given by the guide over there, cause anytime there can be signs of high tides and make sure to enjoy the sea beach till a particular time like in afternoon only.

  5. Carry own food stuff, because many shops are not open during monsoon all the time like the other seasons.

  6. Make sure to book a nice hotel in monsoon cause you never know when what is needed and will be easily available in the hotel itself or can get easily from the hotel staff.

  7. If going for a day out, then mandatory rain coats or win sheeter or umbrellas to be carried and all the bags and handbags should be water proof.

  8. In rainy season most of the time it happens that many animals try to take a shelter below your vehicles, so make sure before starting have a check once, that all is good to go.

  9. Always try to clean your homes during the rainy season as there lots of insects and other things takes shelter in homes so it’s should be kept clean.

Things one should in monsoon:

  1. Drench yourself once in the season.

  2. Have a big cup of coffee with a book and enjoy by the rains

  3. Have an outdoor tour in the season of rains

  4. Enjoy a dinner date with your loved once

  5. Take a bike ride if comfortable drenching in the rains

  6. Make sure to eat hot Maggie or pakoras with some hot beverages

  7. Must have soft drinks with paneer ka pakora.

As always, it's been told that enjoying the rains are good idea but with little precautions it will add more fun to it.

Love

Bon voyagez
